Tripletex + Excel
Your Tripletex data in Excel, kept up to date.
Enhanza syncs every Tripletex table, structures it into one finance model and connects it to Excel through a Power BI dataset, or Google's BigQuery ODBC driver when you don't use Power BI. No exports, no API code and no data pipeline to maintain.
How it works
From Tripletex to Excel in three steps.
Our team sets the connection up with you, and your Excel files keep working when Tripletex changes its API.
- 1
Connect Tripletex
Sign in to Tripletex from Enhanza and choose the companies to sync. Each company is one data source. - 2
Enhanza organizes it
Every table is synced and structured into one finance model: profit and loss, balance sheet, accounts, invoices and the rest, for every company. - 3
Connect Excel
Either connect Excel to a Power BI dataset built on your Tripletex data, or install Google's BigQuery ODBC driver in Windows and choose Data, Get Data, ODBC in Excel. Both refresh from Excel instead of a new export every month.
Data we sync
Every table, not a summary.
Structured down to the line level, so you can report on anything Tripletex holds and combine it with the rest of your systems.
Accounting
Chart of accounts, general ledger, ledger postings, vouchers, voucher types, annual accounts, balance sheet, budgets, departments, divisions, currencies
Sales
Invoices, orders, customers, products, addresses
Purchasing
Supplier invoices, suppliers, supplier products, purchase orders, payment types
Projects & time
Projects, timesheet entries
Payroll
Employees, employee categories, employments, employment details, payslips, leave of absence, leave types
Inventory
Inventories, inventory locations, stocktakings
Your options
Three ways to get Tripletex data into Excel.
Exports and home-built integrations both work. The difference is who keeps them working next month, and the month after.
| Export to a file | Build on the Tripletex API | Enhanza | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Refreshes on its own | No | Once it's built | Yes |
| Several companies in one model | Merged by hand | If you build it | Yes |
| Other systems alongside | Merged by hand | One more integration each | Same model, same connection |
| Keeping it working | Redone every month | Yours, when the API changes | Ours |
What you build in Excel
Excel on top of every Tripletex table.
Pivot tables on vouchers and invoice rows that refresh instead of being exported again
The month-end workbook, pointed at live figures
Budget against actuals, with the actuals coming straight from the books
FAQ
Questions people ask.
Do I need Power BI to use Excel?
No. The ODBC driver connects Excel without any Power BI licence; it takes a few more steps to set up, in Windows. Going through Power BI is more stable and also works in Excel for the web.
Can I keep my existing workbooks?
Yes. Point the sheets that hold exported data at the connection instead, and the rest of the workbook keeps working on figures that refresh.
How up to date is the data?
Enhanza syncs Tripletex automatically, as often as your plan includes, and Excel reads the latest figures each time it refreshes.
Can I report on several Tripletex companies together?
Yes. Each company is its own data source in Enhanza, and they all land in the same finance model, so Excel sees one set of tables for the whole group.
Which Enhanza plan do I need?
Every plan connects to Excel. Enhanza Connect (€195 a month) is made for teams that report in their own tool; Standard and Professional add Enhanza's own dashboards and AI.
